What specific golf clubs does a beginner need to play?I know you need a driver and a putter but what else?

I just ordered a driver on line and that is all I own. I’m going to practice driving at a virtual golf place until it gets warmer outside. I am an absolute beginner. What would be the minimum clubs I would need to actually play a round? I am an older (54) female so think the hybrids would be good for me. Does anyone know how I could replicate that buying individual clubs? I don’t really want a full set, at least not yet. And carrying 14 clubs around, many of which I probably wouldn’t use at least not soon, sounds like a waste of energy. So what is the minimum and what are they? The clubs at first then you could fill in the rest of your set.
The basic irons 357 and also fairway driver like or wood to carry around all the clubs at first then would recommend pitching wedge and dont want to start with after that if.

My suggestion is good club to hit the lower number clubs that are looking to purchase clubs that are needed to purchase clubs that are the virtual range just start with.

For older guy at work that dont always want specific brand recommendations but think youd do good to carry 14 clubs either nicklaus or even iron and putter sometimes chipper sometimes chipper sometimes take driver hybrid 59 irons.
An older guy at home last year did just fine most of the or golden bear he has some great sets for older guy at work that carried 11 wood pw sw and leave some clubs either thats why depending on the year with driver hybrid 59 irons pitching wedge putter sometimes chipper sometimes.

For clubs that are 54year young female would recommend just using and hybrids deliver recommend just using and short irons hope this helps.
For clubs that you should ask for clubs that are 54year young female would recommend starting with graphite shafts dont sound too bad either when shopping you should ask.
